The Yamaha XS650 has been a desired base for the custom motorcycle industry. The influence for this concept came from the idea to combine proven performance upgrades in combination with modern tuning. Rephasing the engine to 270 degree for power and torque balance in the crankshaft with a custom center crank pin. Big bore 80mm ramping up the cc to 750. Reverse heads to create a Ram-air intake with its own difficulties designing custom rocker arms. And integrating the entire ignition and EFI system from an MT-07 2017 to have full control of the mapping and tuning.
Redesigned Roller bearing rocker arms for the application of the reversed intake. Simulated with Autodesk Fusion360 for dynamic pressure of 200N resulted at a safety factor of 10.48.
This all combined in the platform of a bobber styled design with the features of modern performance motorcycles, except the ridicules small gas tank.
